About TDC

History

Trinity Dental Clinic began as a vision of Christian nurses in Blount County who saw a need for non-traditional healthcare. Multiple health care surveys corroborated this need, and the greatest need proved to be dentistry. Follow-up meetings were held with other Christian community leaders and health care providers. Trinity Dental Clinic opened for patient care in April 2006.
Tom Coulter

Tom Coulter

Board President

Tom Coulter is our Board President here at Trinity. Tom joined the board in 2005, and was named Board President shortly after the clinic opened in 2006. Tom believes everyone is called to help their neighbors whenever they can. Tom feels that his life has been blessed, and he feels obligated to bless others, and believes Trinity is one of the few agencies with the ability to do that. A fun fact about Tom is that he has had much weight loss since high school where he almost weighed 300 pounds, and Tom is also the current president of Maryville Kiwanis. Tom is enthused about the future for Trinity Dental Clinic. Believing we have just scratched the surface in providing dental care, and we have the right leadership to expand and improve our services.
